After all your hard work, the big day is finally here. We’d like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
Yes, all of the planning and preparing is finally over. You’ve shopped, cooked, wrapped and decorated and now it’s nearly Christmas Day.
Whether you’re celebrating quietly at home or doing something more extravagant, we hope that you have a wonderful day full of love and laughter.
Here at Christmas Guide Central, we’ll be enjoying a quiet family celebration. There will be a very traditional Christmas dinner of roast turkey with all the trimmings and Christmas pudding afterwards, and there is bound to be a glass or two of celebratory fizz.
After that, we’ll take a few days off to relax and reflect on the year that has just passed.
Many of us will be spending Christmas away from loved ones, and some will be spending the day alone. For too many people, this will be the first Christmas since the death of a loved one. The future looks uncertain for many people, and these worries can feel overwhelming.
It’s OK to not feel OK, but if you are worried about something or feeling depressed, please talk to someone about it.
If you don’t feel able to talk to a friend or relative, there are dedicated helplines and online webchats which can offer support. People are ready to listen, and you are not alone – Click here for a list of support helplines
