Advertisements and Promotional Posts
Where payment has been received in order to secure the publication of an article, we will clearly label these as an ‘Advertisement Feature’.
If goods, services or a complimentary visit are provided in order to secure the publication of an article, this will be labelled as a ‘Promotional Feature’
Please be assured that these posts will still reflect our genuine opinion. We will never accept payment to promote something which does not meet the standards of this website.
Throughout this blog, some of the links are affiliate links for products and services. If you order through one of these links, we receive a fee at no cost to yourself.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Reviews of products or services
Reviews which feature on this blog are open and honest reviews. If we have been sent a sample of a product to review, this will be stated in the review.
Samples are received for consideration, and we can not guarantee that we will write about every sample sent in for review.
Reviews of restaurants and days out
Visits to restaurants and days out elsewhere are funded by myself unless otherwise stated, and the review will be based upon the experience of myself and any guests with me.
Prices shown may be approximate, although I will indicate if this is the case. As with product reviews, my reviews will be open and honest, regardless of who is paying the bill.
Many of the photos within this blog are our own photographs, and as such, the copyright for these is held by Sally Akins. If you would like to use any of the original photographs, please do ask first – it’s only polite!
Likewise, I will always attempt to gain permission before using anyone else’s photographs, and will give credit for the photos on this website. If you see your work on this website and I have not been able to contact you for prior permission, please let me know and I will add your details or remove the photo straight away.
We also use stock photography and hold a licence for each stock photograph which we use.
This blog uses a mixture of our own recipes and recipes which are adapted from elsewhere.
If a recipe is our own work, then the copyright for it is retained by Sally Akins as the owner of the site.
An adapted recipe will have at least 2 alterations, and credit to the original author will be given together with a link to the original recipe or the book in which it appears.
If a recipe is reproduced in its original form, then credit will be given together with a link to the web page or book in which it appears. If this is a review copy of a book, I will also state that.
